Hair Removal
For many men and women unwanted or excessive hair can be a problem. Traditional methods, waxing, shaving or plucking, can be painful and not very successful.
The Gentlelase technology operates by emitting a gentle beam of light to the hair follicle, where it is transferred into heat. This allows for the safe removal of unwanted hair without causing damage to the delicate pores and structures of the skin.
Number of treatments does depend on your skin type and hair colour. To ensure the best results, we recommend having 6-8 treatments, 6 weeks apart. For the face we recommend treatments of 4 weeks apart.
How to prepare for your Laser hair removal treatment
In assisting in making the treatment less painful and more effective we ask that you shave over the area you want treated on the day of treatment at the comfort of your own home.
To prevent any superficial burning we recommend no sun, solarium or fake tan 2 weeks before your treatment.
After treatment we ask you avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks as sun exposure can result in pigmentation of the treated area.
